Mark Kehrberg, MD
Chief Medical Officer, Affinity Health System
Mark W. Kehrberg, MD, was named senior vice president and chief medical officer of Affinity Health System in March 2007. Dr. Kehrberg, an Oshkosh resident and pediatrician, is responsible for leading clinical quality efforts at Affinity’s three hospitals, 22 clinics and Network Health Plan.
Dr. Kehrberg, who had been vice president of Medical Affairs for Affinity Mercy Medical Center and Medical Director for Specialty Care, Southern Region for Affinity Medical Group since 2002, joined LaSalle Clinic in 1993 before LaSalle Clinic became part of Affinity Health System in 1998. Before joining Affinity, Dr. Kehrberg was in pediatric group practice in Albuquerque, NM, from 1983 to 1993, and briefly in private practice in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Kehrberg also spent two years as an EIS officer with the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta during which time he served as acting director for the Bureau of Communicable Disease Control and acting state epidemiologist for the Utah State Department of Health.
Dr. Kehrberg received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He completed his residency at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals in Salt Lake City, and a master’s in Preventive Medicine and Administrative Medicine from UW Madison.
